Like a fire her red lips make the temp rise

A glow so pungent it can mutate your cells with one whiff
Butterfly kisses with each bat of her eyelashes
And I know - she will never notice me.

Waves - strands release into the wind’s song and I ponder on.
Her silhouette, cascading by the presence of the moon
